Displaced Workers Look to Health Care Seeking Phlebotomy Training and Health Site Shows Them How

Given malaise in the job market, many displaced workers are turning to the one job sector that seems to be relatively immune to economic downturns, and that sector is healthcare. Specifically, individuals are seeking allied health opportunities, and one such avenue is phlebotomy. An aging population combined with a desire on the part of health insurers to conduct as much medical screening as early as possible means that drawing blood is a practice that is going to experience increasingly higher demand. Would be workers are starting to realize this, and they are beginning to look into phlebotomy training to get themselves started in a healthcare related career.

The depressed job market has many accepting that the fact that job security is no longer a viable concept, that in fact practically any job can disappear at any moment, either through outsourcing or downsizing or any other phenomena that ultimately results in the simple dreaded fact that the job is no more. Nearly all families and individuals count on their jobs for their existence; despite what many think, few families and individuals have the requisite savings or wealth to sustain a jobless reality. People work so that they can live, and without jobs people literally cannot pay for the basic necessities such as food and shelter. The government is not the answer, and even if people could manage an existence from government hand outs, such an approach is temporary at best.

The process of becoming a phlebotomist is fairly straightforward, but nonetheless still requires discipline on the part of those seeking to become one. Although certification is only required in a handful of states in the US, increasingly health facilities are demanding that individuals be certified professionals. Thus, it would be in the best interest of the job seeker to engage in a program that would help them earn a phlebotomy certification. There are numerous options for phlebotomy training, some are purely educational in nature, some are more hands on, and some lead to phlebotomy certification, which is what job seekers are going to need. The challenge is in locating a phlebotomy training center that will enable the individual to master the skill of blood collection as well as sample collection which may be demanded as part of a phlebotomy job by certain health facilities.

Phlebotomists may find that they are required travel to collect samples as part of their normal every day duties. In this regard, they may travel to outpatient clinics, people’s homes and even nursing homes to collect samples. All of these are of course not uniform across the board and it does depend upon what expectations come with the job. Life insurance companies, for example, hire phlebotomists to meet individuals at their homes to collect samples such as blood and urine, as well as take other vital information like height and of course weight. All in all, a successful phlebotomist career will have as foundation exemplary phlebotomy training, preferably one that leads to a phlebotomy certification.

“A common roadblock we’re seeing is that individuals are inundated with tons of often conflicting accounts on how to locate a phlebotomy training center that meets their needs. Moreover, they also get confused on the realities of phlebotomy certification, which though not mandatory, is for all practical purposes a de facto standard that job seekers must possess. To help would be phlebotomists, we assembled relevant and timely information and continue to add industry related information so our readers can get all the information they need, conveniently in one site,” explains Frank Messina of phlebotomytrainingv.com.

Teaching of Sunday School Lessons Made Easier With New Products From Eikon Bible Art

With its latest educational products, Eikon Bible Art is continuing its tradition of delivering unique teaching materials that enables educators to engage their students and sustain their interest in a subject area often fraught with laborious details. The attention span of students today is nothing like those of the students that came before them; the reality is that children today are accustomed to multiple streams of thought, all simultaneously hitting them, and to their credit, they have mastered the art of impromptu prioritization. Many children today can balance multiple live conversations, all taking place simultaneously, while enjoying music, watching TV, doing their homework and maybe even having dinner without skipping a beat. This may not be what many consider as appropriate, but it is reality. Thus, any learning material would have to conquer children’s propensity to get bored with efforts to get them to focus on a singular line of thought in linear fashion. To date, Eikon Bible Art has managed to do so, and with their latest line of Sunday school lessons, they prove once more why they are the leading provider of Bible Lessons to educators the world over.

For the month of April, Eikon continues the saga of Joseph, and how his dedication to his Lord enabled God’s plan to manifest itself, however unlikely it may have seemed. In Joseph Rules Egypt, we find the Pharaoh appointing Joseph as Vizier, second in command to only the Pharaoh himself. Because of Joseph’s humility and his wisdom in interpreting the Pharaoh’s dream, it became easy for the ruler of Egypt to justify his selection, explaining that God’s spirit is truly in him (Joseph). His elevation to Vizier also came with an opportunity for taking a wife, with whom he celebrated the birth of two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. In his name selection, Joseph demonstrates his true self and his dedication to his God once more. Despite his lofty status in Egypt, Joseph does not turn his back on his Hebrew heritage.

Just as God previously foretold, the region became ravaged by famine, but owing to his willingness to listen to his Lord, Joseph was able to plan for and execute a plan that would spare Egypt from the wrath of nature. By anticipating and saving for the lean times as Joseph prescribed, Egypt was able to endure without much hardship and neighboring civilizations took notice. It is during this momentous event that Joseph was presented with a chance opportunity to come face to face with his brothers, the same undesirables who had initially planned to kill, but ultimately decided to sell Joseph into slavery.

The manner in which Eikon narrates its tale of Joseph’s travails is at once inspiring and gripping, building anticipation from one module to the next and this approach is working wonders for students. With Joseph’s story, Eikon has produced a transcendent lesson that is rich in hardship and despair to which lesser men would have succumbed, but for the love of God. Joseph’s embrace of God’s love and wisdom enabled him to rise above slavery to become Vizier, and ultimately gave him the opportunity to test his brothers and see that in their willingness to submit to slavery to save their brother Benjamin and by extension their father Jacob, that these brothers have genuinely changed for the better. Satisfied in what he found, Joseph then reveals himself and begins the process to help his family live the good life.

“The Bible is replete with narratives that deliver powerful lessons that are as applicable today as they have been when they were first recorded. We have a responsibility to pass along these lessons to subsequent generations, and through our products we hope to have captured the essence of each and every story we represent,” explains Alan Lockhart of Eikon Bible Art.

Former Dalai Lama Bodyguard to Deliver Workshop on Classical Martial Art Including Bagua and Hsing i

Allen Pittman, the world renowned martial arts practitioner and teacher who has had the privilege of protecting the Dalai Lama during his visits to the United States, will be traveling to Blackheath, London in early May to conduct a Wisdom of the Body workshop for the benefit of all those who are interested in concepts and experiences relating to the body and its interplay with the martial arts. Mr. Pittman will be conducting the event beginning on Saturday, May 7 and will conclude the following day with the application of the ideas learned from day one to classical martial arts such as Bagua, Hsing i or Shaolin. Both men and women are encouraged to attend the event, and previous experience is not a prerequisite to attend the event.

Bagua, or Ba Gua as represented in some literature, is a martial arts discipline characterized by walking in a circular pattern. Ba Gua differs from other martial arts styles in that it focuses a lot of attention on grappling, pulling, and hitting. It is popular among bodyguards as evidenced by its growing adoption in the profession. The movements prescribed by Ba Gua are not necessary lethal, which makes it a preferred choice for individuals who need to impose order using the least damaging approach possible. During the event, Allen Pittman will also be demonstrating Hsing-I, which is more lethal in its approach relative to Ba Gua, given its emphasis on direct attacks.

The workshop is relevant to people from all walks of life because everyone can benefit from understanding their physical well being and their mental state in relation to their body and its response mechanisms. This understanding will enable individuals to gain an insight into how they can actually feel good both inside and out. Yoga practitioners and martial arts purists and enthusiasts will find revealing insight that they may not have known before. Even generalists, those whose interest represent more breadth of content rather than depth in one or a few specific subject areas will benefit from the wisdom imparted by Allen Pittman, who is able to articulate the interplay between the mind and the body better than his contemporaries.

Allen Pittman is actively working with adults to develop and refine a physical training system which interweaves developmental and integrative psychology with physical exercise progressions, calling it “Le Sagesse de Corps” or “The Wisdom of the Body” in English. “The beauty of our system is that it brings together seemingly disparate constructs such as individual history, world history and existential initiation into protocol of movement combining animal insights with Rites of Passage,” explains Allen Pittman. “This holistic view that incorporates the various domains of thought acknowledges that the body is at once a complex amalgamation of universal proportions and peacefully simple once we accept a unified view of the body and everything else that plays a part in its being.” In this context, Allen Pittman is able to bring together the various schools of thought, and in the workshop, Allen will endeavour to make it abundantly clear how using the body as the tool of Initiation becomes fundamental to understanding the classical martial arts like Ba Gua, Hsing-I or Shaolin.

The workshop will take place at The Main Hall of John Ball Primary School in Southvale Road, Blackheath, London SE3 0TP. Registration is at 09.45 am and the workshop begins promptly at 10.00 am, concluding at 4.00pm. Participants are asked to bring their packed lunch along with water. The cost of the workshop is £50. Places are limited and will be allocated as payment is received.

Allen Pittman has dedicated his life to the study of the Human Body as the enlightenment vehicle. He has apprenticed with Wisdom teachers around the world in medicine, martial arts and yoga. His main studies have combined the Warrior and the Healer.

Investing for Dummies Instructional Site Launched by Seasoned Stock Market Pros

The delivery channels of business information, in particular stock market information, have increased by leaps and bounds over the past decade. Interested individuals may now receive stock market updates, analyses and advice over their television, radio, mobile devices, internet and of course the venerable newspaper and periodical. The formats have been impressive as well, with viewers able to consume information through written material, audio books, video, live broadcasts, podcasts and more.

On the plus side, the variety from which investors can choose their preferred method of staying up to date with the stock market pulse is enabling them to consume information at any time and at any place. On the downside, and this applies in particular to the inexperienced and neophytes, the deluge of information is not only overwhelming, but also confusing at best. Because of the varying viewpoints delivered through these myriad channels, newbies have no idea where to start. What they really need to start is a single delivery channel that is focused on delivering the fundamentals in terms of information. A delivery channel focused on investing for dummies that connects the dots for the uninitiated so that they can learn the proper way.

Recognizing this gap, seasoned veterans banded together to produce stockmarketics.com, a new instructional site that is dedicated to providing readers with the foundational knowledge they will need in order to actively and profitably participate in the market. Stockmarketics.com delivers its information through the internet, and their periodical updates are sufficient enough to deliver new and relevant information without overwhelming its reader base. The content is incisive and fresh, appropriate for absolute beginners but also deep enough for intermediate players in the stock market.

The incessant gyrations of the stock market have been a deterrent for many would-be market players. With uncertainty still pervasive and memories of the global recession still fresh, the market has been anything but confidence inspiring, particularly in certain sectors such as financials and energy. That, coupled with the unprecedented wave of instability sweeping across the Middle East and North Africa, and the result is a tepid stock market that may prove to be dangerous waters for the uninitiated. The current environment is certainly not favorable to learning, but much of what one needs to know is addressed in stockmarketics.com’s investing for dummies learning program.

There are many schools of thought when it comes to engaging the stock market. Some insist on trading the fundamentals, while others swear by trend trading. Yet others are contrarian, and even some subscribe to some morphed random walk theory principles tailored specifically to the stock market. “Irrespective of the approach, there is certain foundational information that every participant must know, and it is these types of information that serves as the bedrock for stockmarketics.com as we service the larger community in a teaching capacity, through an initiative we affectionately call investing for dummies,” explains Oz, one of the brains behind stockmarketics.com.

Global Database Experts Announce Online Oracle Training Focusing on Learning and Certification

Database experts from famed database training center Kendba.com have designed a new online Oracle training program that promises to deliver the benefits of live instruction no matter where in the world the learner is located. By employing a hybrid approach that leverages a live instructor for a facilitated virtual class, the best of both worlds is delivered in one convenient learning experience. Online learning and live instruction is neatly packaged together into one program, making it an extremely flexible way of receiving online Oracle certification courses. In an age when commerce, business transactions, academic learning and other interaction are increasingly going online with much success, it only makes sense that database professionals turn to the online world for effective and flexible instruction, and Kendba.com specializes in delivering in that learning format.

The demand for database professionals has continued unabated, as transactions of all types the world over continue to produce a never ending stream of data representing everything and anything related to encounters, events and other activity deemed important enough to track. In fact, the prevailing thought is that everything will ultimately turn digital, and that analog forms of capturing information, such as in the case of pen and paper, will ultimately go the way of the dinosaur, with a few exceptions. Whether the application is entertainment or casual reading or shopping, interactions are by and large mostly digital today.

Many prefer to go online to conduct their daily activities such as shopping and banking. Financial transactions across the entire spectrum from personal to business, are conducted online today and will increasingly move to the cyber world as the next generation of people become practically all-digital. All of these activities, given their digital nature, are enabled by databases of various designs.

What this means for technology professionals is that the growing need for data management will in turn increase the demand for database professionals. But today’s database landscape isn’t quite as simple as it used to be, as databases and supporting technology meant to run them as well as hardware infrastructure increasingly are coming together to form a solution, rather than a one-off implementation.

The increased complexity in the use of database technology is becoming pervasive and Oracle is leading the way. Database professionals who wish to stay relevant in today’s fast changing database industry will need to devote the requisite time and resource to learning. Those wishing to operate in an Oracle environment and have limited time will require online Oracle training, and Kendba.com can fill that need with their expertly facilitated virtual classes.

“What we offer to Oracle learners are expertly crafted online oracle certification courses that have been designed to maximize material learning while minimizing the investment in terms of time. Our classes are virtual but are facilitated by a live instructor to give students all the support that they need,” explains David Martin of Kendba.com.

Sunday School Lessons Made Easier By New Products Launched by Eikon Bible Art

Eikon Bible Art delivers once again with a suite of new products that delve into the life of Joseph in order to deliver poignant, incisive lessons. The new products are characteristically Eikon, in that the material is at once engaging and breathtaking, with its larger than life art and captivating story telling that makes it smooth and easy for instructors to convey the meaning of God’s words to children and adult learners alike. Sunday school lessons have never been easier to absorb and comprehend, and Eikon’s new suite of products is poised to deliver the message of the Lord in a fun and entertaining package of Bible stories to legions of learners the world over.

The biblical character Joseph easily comes off as sympathetic to practically any reader in that the poor guy is betrayed time and again even by his own brothers who sell him into slavery then lie to their father about the event. In Joseph is sold into slavery, the Bible teaches that we reap what we sow – recall that Jacob used a goat to deceive his own father many years earlier – now his sons have used a goat to deceive him. Sad but true and a modern parallel to this is the notion that what comes around, goes around. In this cruel and ironic twist, everyone suffers from act perpetrated by the brothers, as they bear the heavy burden of guilt, the father mourns for a son whom he believes is dead and not least of all, Joseph loses his freedom as he is sold into slavery. The vicious cycle has claimed its victims but Joseph, through God’s love, will persevere and triumph despite all odds.

In Joseph is sold into slavery, we find Joseph becoming the property of Potiphar. Immediately Joseph’s world is turned upside down as this young man from a modest town is taken to Egypt with its burgeoning society and what must seem to Joseph as its strange Godless practice, or rather its multi deity culture. Not long after Potiphar takes Joseph home does his sultry wife attempt a Mrs. Robinson seductress routine on Joseph, but he stays the course and refuses her advances. Despite Joseph’s exceptional services, Potiphar has him thrown in jail when his frustrated wife concocts a story that Joseph tried to impose his urges on her. With God as his guide and inspiration, Joseph kept it together, and managed to continue his virtuous ways. Temptation and morality, front and center in the lives of children today given the peer pressure enabled by technology that enables instantaneous communication with thousands of peers in a never-ending social network, is addressed in a powerful way in Joseph and Potiphar’s Wife.

Joseph ends up in prison as we see in the story Joseph in prison. Children will learn that the conduct and behavior of someone who loves God should show a dignity and contentment that is obvious to others, and this idea is explored in Joseph in Prison. For the love of God defines the totality of oneself, it should come as no surprise that those who love God exhibit a life of order and peace in a dignified, content manner. Joseph’s unwavering beliefs ultimately leads him to the graces of the pharaoh, and in the pharaoh’s dream, Eikon takes the student into a journey that may at first seem otherworldly and chaotic, but ultimately proves that God is always in control, and Joseph emerges from prison to save Egypt.

Finally, Big Red continues to make a splash as a special. Unmistakable bright red cover, all new modern images, especially created for children aged 6 to 12. A great resource that is engaging, one that kids will actually use.

“Like many Biblical personalities, Joseph’s life was full of teaching moments, and for the month of March, we focus on several key moments in Joseph’s life and extract teaching points that resonate profoundly to not only the youth but also to the adults today. The parallels that one could draw from Joseph’s experiences to today’s modern society are uncanny,” notes Alan Lockhart of Eikon Bible Art.

Eikon Bible Art Announces New Bible Learning Products for the Month of February

For the month of February, Eikon Bible Art has ramped up its delivery of Bible stories in DVD format, following a successful launch in the previous month. Fans of traditional learning materials, which help instructors all over the world deliver the word of God to youths of all ages and maturity levels, need not worry because Eikon Bible Art has no intention of abandoning the tried and true, time-tested format which includes PowerPoint slides that leverage the very best that art can offer to capture attention and elevate the learning experience. Eikon Bible Art launched three new products in the traditional PowerPoint and activity pack format to accompany several new lessons produced in the new DVD platform to help deliver Bible stories for children.

Eikon Bible Art presents the story “Wilderness Temptation” in teaching aid format, to tell a tale of an epic battle between good and evil, culminating in the revelation that indeed, Jesus is able to resist the temptations of Satan, and that there could be no doubt that Jesus is the son of God. “Wilderness Temptation” is rich in detail, doing great justice to the story as told by Matthew, and includes pictures showing Jesus in various phases of the story, including the final scene when Angels came to minister Jesus.

Also featured in February is the story of “The Death of Samson.” In this teaching aid package, students are walked through the dangers of treachery and that all men and women for that matter can fall into the trap of those who wish to do harm to them. The most potent way to ward off evil and other detractors would be by following the word of God, and in that regard, Samson failed as he yielded to the temptation posed by one sinister woman named Delilah. By snipping off Samson’s hair, Delilah managed to eliminate Samson’s source of strength, and thus render him vulnerable. Ultimately, students will learn that when we ignore God’s teaching, we are opening ourselves up for trouble; moreover, when students will learn that when humans associate with those who despise God, little by little those humans will drift away from God, and the departure will be so gradual that they won’t realize that the Spirit of God had departed them until it is too late.

The story “Jacob’s Ladder” continues on with the theme of danger many will face if they don’t follow the word of God. Jacob, having exercised self-exile to avoid the wrath of his brother whom he had deceived, finds himself dreaming of a ladder that connects heaven and earth, a ladder employed by the Angels to ascend and descend. Atop the ladder is the Lord himself. In his dream, Jacob communicates with God and comes away convinced that there is only one true God, and that everything great and small was created by God. More importantly, he learns that even though his treachery has betrayed God’s will, God is still willing to provide him with an opportunity to fulfill God’s design on his life. With those lessons learned, Jacob commemorates the moment by anointing a rock with oil, and calling the place “Bethel.”

Finally, for February, Eikon Bible Art ramps up its production of DVD format lessons, delivering Bible stories for children in a format that can be directly consumed by the children, who know exactly how to interact with DVD videos. The familiar form, the engaging art, the action and ultimately the lesson told through the story is a compelling approach to spreading God’s word. In February, the following titles were released: Easter 1 and 2, The Power and The Glory, Parables of Jesus 1 and 2, Life of John the Baptist, Failure and Redemption, Faith and Redemption and Miracle of Jesus 2.

“Our Legends of Life format has proven to be very popular with our clients, and we have focused on releasing quite of few titles in February, to accompany our traditional learning aids, of which we released three in this month,” explains Alan Lockhart of Eikon Bible Art.

Eikon Bible Art Continues to Support Sunday School Lessons with New January Products

Industry leader Eikon Bible Art continues to fulfill its mission to support educators deliver Sunday School Lessons with new products to its lineup, all geared toward making it fun and easy for youth and even adults to engage in and understand life lessons imparted by Bible Stories. Educators and students alike attest to the efficacy of Eikon Bible Art’s approach to producing teaching materials, and January’s release builds upon Eikon’s master collection of Bible teaching aids.

Eikon Bible Art adds the story of Samson to its long line of teaching aids, focusing on his birth, his riddle, his vengeance and ultimately his death to deliver the message of the Bible in a powerful and incisive manner. With Samson’s Birth, students understand that although sinners will be punished by God, those who ask for forgiveness will be heard. Additionally, students also learn about the essence of strong marriage, and that a cohesive family enables couples to confide, trust and comfort in each other. Samson came from such a family and his mother was considered a Godly woman, and with God’s blessing was able to conceive.

In Samson’s Riddle, students are introduced to the concept of living the way God intended, and that God can remediate our sinful condition and turn things around for his glory. Through his commandments, God has laid out the way to living right, and in Death of Samson, students begin to understand that ignoring God’s teaching brings about confusion and people end up straying from the path, resulting in a tumultuous existence. Finally, in Samson’s Vengeance, students come face to face with the concept of being judgmental. As a warrior, it is easy for Samson to be viewed as a man with limited intellect; however, nothing could be farther from the truth as Samson proved to be well organized, smart with his riddle and a person with a big heart. Admittedly, Samson had a short fuse, but despite his shortcomings, Samson maintained his service to God alone, and God was accepting of him.

Accompanying Samson in January is the hero Gideon, with two learning aids based on his travails. Gideon Chosen by God and Gideon Defeats the Midianites joins the Samson quad series. In Gideon Chosen by God, students are presented with the idea that although we may not always feel like we are important or are needed, God places great value and has plans for each of us. Additionally, students learn that in the course of living our lives, we may have to take a different direction than that taken by our friends and families, in order to follow God’s way. Finally, students are reminded that God in Heaven is in fact the only true God. In Gideon Defeats the Midianites, students will learn how to draw courage from God and trust in that which he asks, even when the meaning isn’t abundantly clear at first.

“In addition to the new teaching aids released in January, Eikon is introducing the Legends of Faith series, which is a product designed for children from ages 8-12. Delivered in Comic format, Legends of Faith is a perfect way for children to learn about the Word of God,” explains Alan Lockhart of Eikon Bible Art. Titles for January include The Power and The Glory, Easter 1 and 2, Miracles of Jesus 1 and 2, Parables of Jesus 1 and 2, and Fifty days to Pentecost.

Eikon Bible Art Releases New Products to Help Deliver Sunday School Lessons

For the month of December, Eikon Bible Art continues with its long tradition of producing award winning learning products to help engage children and facilitate their learning of Sunday School Lessons. Visual learning is one of the most effective ways of delivering messages to an audience, and when properly designed, visual learning aids builds comprehension and lasting retention.

The latest Bible stories for children focuses on Jesus’ sayings as emphasized in the Canonical Gospel of Matthew. These are collectively referred to as the Sermon on the Mount. Also new for December is the story of Abraham and Isaac, which tells the story of a father and his son and the ultimate test of faith. Joining the aforementioned is the Calling of the fishermen, which recalls the tale of four men who for three years would witness the wonderful miracles and teaching of Jesus. Finally, rounding out the December offering is a special sale on the “Big Red” Holy Bible, which features new contemporary images to accompany the full text of the International Children’s Bible translation, all encased in a glorious bright red cover that is hard to miss.

Eikon Bible Art’s approach to children’s learning materials is underpinned by an abundance of figures to help the student visualize concepts and comprehend subject matter that is otherwise difficult to understand. In their three-part series on “Sermon on the Mount,” Eikon Bible Art provides a masterful sequence of landscape art to help the student understand the magnitude of the lessons that Jesus is delivering to his listeners that he delivered on the Mount of Beatitudes. In “Abraham and Isaac,” Eikon Bible Art revisits one of the more difficult concepts to teach, particularly when the target audience is children. In the story, Abraham is tested by God, who asks that Abraham’s first son be sacrificed. Eikon Bible carefully distinguishes the concept of test from tempt, and in so doing helps the audience understand that God truly would not have allowed Abraham to sacrifice his first born son.

“Calling of the Fishermen” tells the story of four men who left their nets, their boats, their family, in essence everything they had, to follow a man who simply asked them to do so. With that act, the four men saw the opportunity to follow Jesus, and they did not squander the chance to follow him and learn from his teachings. Eikon Bible Art does an effective job of conveying the message that although forsaking all to follow Jesus may be a very difficult choice to make, it will ultimately turn out to be the most important decision people make in their life.

Eikon Bible Art has previously delivered products for Bible teachers that address the need for accurate, relevant and compelling resources, and their December products continue in that tradition. The December releases feature the following time tested learning aids: Bible PowerPoint presentations, Activity Packs, pages that kids can colour-in, a puzzle page and Flash Cards that are rich in high quality images to help the children understand and learn.

“Our December products feature some of the more difficult concepts for children to understand, such as Abraham’s test,” notes Alan Lockhart of Eikon Bible Art. “However, we feel that we have been able to break down the concepts into smaller pieces that are easier to comprehend, and collectively these pieces come together to help our reader fully appreciate the word of the Lord.”

New Learning Materials Released By Christian Learning Products Developer Eikon Bible Art

In addition to the “Big Red” Holy Bible, for the month of October, Eikon Bible Art has come up with new titles for their collection of educational Christian material. “Pharisee and Publican” includes six colorful PowerPoint slides, together with an Activity Pack available in PDF format which may be printed out. This activity pack serves as a teaching aid, providing descriptions of the Powerpoint slides, important lessons to be gleaned from the presentation, a coloring page, and even a page full of puzzles for little kids.

Another compilation by Eikon Bible Art entitled “Sadducees and Resurrection” also depicts six scenes in a PowerPoint presentation. It describes how Jesus spoke to the Sadducees regarding Resurrection. The presentation concludes with an important message of how God is the God of the living and not the dead. This compilation also comes with an educational Activity Pack, again in PDF format.

“Water Into Wine” discusses how Jesus miraculously turned water into wine in the village of Cana. This is a popular story because it tells the story of Jesus’ first miracle. This compilation by Eikon Bible Art comes with an Activity Pack that accompanies the PowerPoint presentation.

A timely lesson is to be learned from “Careless Judge,” which teaches how prayer is a strong tool, not only in communicating with God, but also in showing one’s faith in Him. In this narrative, Jesus tells the parable about a judge who initially did not heed a woman’s pleas for help. Eventually, the judge did lend a hand and the poor woman got her prayers answered.

A more somber story from Eikon Bible Art is portrayed in “Temple Will Be Destroyed” where Jesus informs his followers that the Temple will one day be brought down. Important lesson points in this compilation indicate that difficulties are to be expected from life, and that it is during those times that his followers should have even more faith in God to get through such hardships. This compilation includes six scenes in PowerPoint format and an accompanying Activity Pack.

Eikon Bible Art is also putting “Big Red” Holy Bible on sale, from GBP 11.99 to a more affordable GBP 9.99 (2.00 off). This is a complete text of the International Children’s Bible translation and provides new and contemporary pictures from Eikon Bible Art, meant for kids from ages six to twelve years old. It is so called because of its bright red cover and is now available in full-color and a big, children-friendly font. With the “Big Red” Holy Bible, children will find it more enjoyable and much easier to learn about Christian stories. And with Eikon Bible Art slashing GBP 2.00 from the original price, this bible meant for children is a must-buy.

All the above compilations are conveniently available for download after purchase. “Before Eikon Bible Art even starts work on a new instructional product, we meticulously go over our assumptions to ensure that our designs will result in an end product that will captivate our audience, and enable instructors to deliver Sunday School Lessons in an effective manner,” explains Alan Lockhart, of Eikon Bible Art. “Bible Stories For Children, when crafted properly and delivered in an engaging manner, is an indispensable tool for Christian instructors.”
